I work with leadership teams to bring an external, objective and practical perspective to the incredibly hard task of business building. The businesses I consult with are entrepreneurial in nature, building technology-led, high growth businesses, through disruptive business models. My focus is on management, leadership and team development, organisational design, culture, governance and Board effectiveness, growth strategy, operations, and business development and sales.

During my career I have worked with hundreds of different businesses across sectors and lifecycle, making me an expert-generalist who thrives on frenetic change in complex environments. I leverage 10 years of Deloitte consulting experience, including my role as Head of Operations and member of the Senior Management Team for a £1.5 billion government programme at HM Treasury, with an additional 5 years experience working with some of the most forward thinking businesses in industry.

Recent Consulting engagements

Eight month business restructuring project for a data science and marketing business based in London, employing 60 staff and generating £6.5 million annual turnover. Reported directly to the founders and Managing Director and became an interim member of the Senior Management Team.

  • Diagnostic review of the entire business with focus on operations, sales and business development, Account Planning and organisational design. Restructured these functions based on two way consultative process with management to ensure buy in.
  • Produced Client Service Excellence Handbook, including new Engagement Management Framework and Consultative Selling Framework, and a redesigned annual Account Planning process.
  • Trained Account Managers and Directors on implementation of new Account Planning process and facilitated half day workshops to train all members of client-facing team on new approach. Held additional workshops on Writing Effective Proposals and Running Client Workshops.
  • Coached and mentored Head of Consulting, helping her define the future of the consulting function and recruit for management positions.

I am recently worked with the Director of Business & Innovation and her team at the London College of Fashion to refine the University’s approach and Target Operating Model for delivering enterprise support for students who want to set up their own businesses before and after graduation, aligned with the Government’s Industrial Strategy.
