What you'll learn:

  • How to record coaching calls and generate in-depth summaries for you and your clients.
  • How to create and instruct a GPT for you and your client to use inside and outside sessions.
  • How to safely experiment with new coaching techniques using AI role-play and rehearsal.
  • How to synthesize data (like 360 feedback) into clear, actionable themes without the manual grind.
  • How to use AI as a “thinking partner” and supervisor to spot your own blind spots, biases & patterns.
  • How to think about ethics, privacy and client confidentiality in an increasingly recorded world.

You'll get value from this course if you are:

  • A practicing executive and/or leadership coach.
  • Curious but sometimes overwhelmed by AI hype.
  • Not sure where to start when it comes to incorporating AI into your own coaching.
  • Protective of the human element of coaching, connection, intuition and mastery.
  • Worried of falling behind whilst at the same time deeply skeptical of "AI will replace coaches" messaging.
  • Want to augment your existing coaching experience and practice, not create an "AI version of you".
  • Deeply mindful that if using AI in your practice, you do it in the most ethically considerate way.
  • Keen to be part of a community that shapes the future of AI in coaching, rather than just be shaped by it.
The course will be delivered via live, recorded Zoom sessions, in small learning groups over 4-6 sessions.

Your guide (and fellow experimenter):

I'm Richard Hughes-Jones.

I’m an Executive Coach to founders, CEOs and senior technology leaders.

I'm obsessed with how AI augments, not replaces, human expertise and how it can support both coaches and our clients on our journeys towards mastery.

I'm not a technologist. I can't code! I've been advising and coaching for 20+ years, and I've spent the last 12 months running experiments with AI in my practice. Here's what I learned:

  • AI isn't going to replace experienced coaches. But it will create a gap between coaches who use it and coaches who don't.
  • You don't need to understand how LLMs work. You need to understand how and where to apply them.
  • The best coaches I know are the most curious. They're not waiting for certainty; they're experimenting.

This course isn't me saying "I've figured it out." It's me saying: "Here's what's working. Here's what I'm still testing. Here's how to think about it ethically. Now let's experiment and build a like minded community of coaches together."
